Privacy

Love notes are personal. Here's exactly what we keep, in plain words.

What we store

• The surprise you write: names or nicknames, your message, the theme and type you picked.
• Whether the link was opened, how many times, and the answer to a “Yes/No” question — so you can see it on your private page.
• If you create a space: your name, email and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password — we can never see your real password.
• Inside your space: your Daily Moment answers and love notes. Only you and your partner can see them. Your answer stays hidden from your partner until they answer too.
• Photos you add to Our Story. They're stored privately — not in a public folder — and only the two of you can open them. We re-save every photo, which also removes hidden location data from phone pictures.
• Important dates you add, so we can remind you.

What we don't do

• No tracking ads, no selling data. Surprise links never need an account.
• Love pages are hidden from search engines. Only people with the link can see them.
• We don't store your IP address with your surprise. A scrambled version is used briefly to stop spam.

Deleting a surprise

Open your private manage link (shown after you create a surprise) and press Delete. It's gone immediately. Lost your link? Email info@helpingorbit.com with the love link and we'll help.

Deleting your account

Email info@helpingorbit.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your account and everything you wrote.

Reporting

If someone sent you a page that is abusive or a scam, use the Report link at the bottom of it and we'll take it down.
